GOOD GOD QUESTIONS
Have you ever wondered why God allows suffering, or why bad things happen to good people? Most of us have asked these questions during the course of our lives. Pastor Danny is leading a study entitled, "Good God Questions." Join us on Wednesday evenings at 6:30PM in the Fellowship Hall of the church. All are welcome! PLEASE NOTE: There will be no class this Wednesday the 6th. Classes will resume Wednesday, June 12th.
SPREAD THE GOOD NEWS AND SUPPORT MCC AT THE SAME TIME
On Sunday, June 10th, beginning at 4PM, The Texas Riviera Empire will be hosting a cookout featuring barbeque chicken and all the fixin's at the Hidden Door. For only $5, not only can you share the good news of God's inclusive love with our community, not only can you support MCC of CC (proceeds of this event benefit MCC of CC and TRE), but you can also sample some of the best cooking in South Texas! Where can you beat it?
DESSERT AUCTION IS RESCHEDULED
Break out the flour, the sugar, the eggs, and those cake pans! The Dessert Auction has been rescheduled for Sunday, June 10th at 12:30PM. Come on out and support the Delegates Fund, and satisfy the cravings of your sweet tooth. Everyone is welcome!
BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING
The June Board of Directors meeting is scheduled for Sunday, June 17th immediately following the morning service. Everyone is welcome to attend and observe this meeting.
CONGREGATIONAL FORUM
In preparation for General Conference, Lay Delegate, Andy Wilcox will be hosting a Congregational Forum on Sunday, June 24th, as soon following the morning service. Andy will be sharing with us the measures coming up for vote at General Conference. This is your chance to learn more about what is coming up at General Conference, and to give your input to our Lay Delegate about the measures coming up for vote.
