2011 MCC Church Summit Schedule |
We are pleased that the Church Size Summits have been such a success in 2010. Here are some of the things we feel so good about: - 78 churches were assessed over the course of a year. This was a thorough assessment that included extensive written recommendations and in person feedback.
- 78 churches and 419 people have attended the Church Size Summits. Family Size Churches - 44; Pastor Size Churches - 30; Program Size Churches - 3; Corporate Size Churches - 1.
- The Elders have been invited to 10 individual congregations as a follow up to the Size Summits so that a larger number of congregants could learn about church size theory and therefore, be better able to support and move forward on the recommendations from their assessment.
- The written evaluations of the Church Size Summits have been exemplary and the oral feedback tremendous. 95.6% of attendees rated the Summit as very good to excellent.
The feedback from the Church Size Summits and the results of the 78 assessments has led us to plan some additional summits for 2011. We are pleased to announce that we will be doing some additional Church Size Summits AND we will be adding some new subject matter summits. With great anticipation, Ken, Lillie, Darlene and Diane Rev. Elders Martin, Brock, Garner and Fisher
